Welcome to Mingle Passports. By accessing or using our website, booking a trip, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.

1. About Mingle Passports

Mingle Passports ("we", "us", "our", "the Company") is a travel company offering curated trips to off-the-beaten-path destinations. Depending on the trip, these may be led personally by our founders, by guides we engage, or in partnership with independent travel influencers hosting their own experiences. We facilitate bookings, plan itineraries, and act as the point of contact for travelers throughout the process.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using our services, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old, or are booking with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian
You agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and - where applicable - our Liability Waiver & Media Release
If booking on behalf of a group, company, or organization, you have the authority to bind that group or entity to these Terms

3. Services We Provide

Planning and hosting curated group trips, led by our founders or guides we engage
Connecting travelers with independent travel influencers hosting their own trips
Booking assistance, itinerary planning, and travel logistics support
Communication between travelers, guides, and hosts throughout the trip

Where a trip is hosted by an independent influencer rather than led directly by Mingle Passports, we act as a facilitator connecting you with that host, and are not the direct provider of the on-ground experience unless explicitly stated.

4. Trip Leadership

Who leads a given trip - our founders, a guide we engage, or a partner influencer - depends on the specific trip and may be confirmed closer to the departure date. A change in trip leadership (for example, substituting a guide for a founder) does not by itself constitute a breach of these Terms, provided the trip is delivered as described at the time of booking.

5. User Responsibilities

When using our services or joining a trip, you agree to:

Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration or booking
Respect fellow travelers, guides, and hosts throughout the trip
Comply with local laws and regulations at all trip destinations
Refrain from unlawful, unsafe, or seriously disruptive behavior during the trip

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a booking, or to remove a participant from an ongoing trip without refund, where their behavior is unsafe, illegal, or seriously disruptive to the group or to guides and hosts.

6. Influencer Conduct

Where a trip is hosted by an independent travel influencer, that influencer agrees to:

Provide genuine experiences and accurate descriptions of the trip
Communicate clearly with travelers regarding schedules, expectations, and costs.
Ensure all activities comply with local laws and safety guidelines.

Mingle Passports is not liable for the individual conduct of independent influencers but encourages travelers to report any misconduct to us directly.

7. Payments and Refunds

To confirm your reservation, a 25% advance deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 75% balance must be paid in full no later than 60 days prior to the trip start date.

Failure to complete the full balance payment by this deadline will result in cancellation of your booking, and the advance deposit will be non-refundable.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Within 72 hours of booking — full refund of the advance deposit, no cancellation fee
After 72 hours of booking, but more than 45 days before the trip start date - the advance deposit becomes non-refundable; any balance payment already made will be refunded
Within 45 days of the trip start date — the full trip cost (deposit and balance) is non-refundable, regardless of how much has been paid

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes to your travel plans. All payments are processed securely via third-party payment gateways; Mingle Passports is not responsible for refund delays caused by payment processors or banks.

8. Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure

Trip itineraries are planned in advance but may need to change due to weather, road or travel conditions, permit or permission issues, vendor availability, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or government action. Where such changes occur, we will make reasonable efforts to adjust the itinerary, but are not obligated to provide a refund beyond what we are able to recover from our own vendors and partners.

9. Minimum Group Size

Some trips require a minimum number of confirmed travelers to proceed. If a trip does not reach this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule it. In such cases, we will notify affected travelers as soon as reasonably possible and offer a full refund of all payments made for that trip, or the option to transfer to an alternative trip or date.

10. Travel Documents & Visas

You are responsible for holding a valid passport (with the minimum validity required by your destination), any necessary visas, and any other travel documents or permits required for your trip. We may assist with guidance where possible, but it is your responsibility to ensure your documents meet the requirements of every destination on your itinerary. Mingle Passports is not liable for any cost, loss, or denial of boarding, entry, or travel arising from incomplete, invalid, or missing travel documents.

11. Liability, Risk & Waiver

Travel involves inherent risk. Before joining a trip, you will be asked to sign our Liability Waiver & Media Release, which sets out in detail the risks you assume, the extent of our liability, medical consent arrangements, and consent for use of photos and videos taken during the trip. That document forms part of the agreement between you and Mingle Passports for any trip you join.

Except where caused by our proven gross negligence or willful misconduct, Mingle Passports is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages incurred during a trip, acts of nature or government action affecting travel, or service failures by independent third parties such as airlines, hotels, or transport operators. You participate in trips at your own risk and are responsible for securing appropriate travel insurance.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mingle Passports, its founders, employees, guides, and partner influencers against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your own negligent, reckless, or unlawful conduct in connection with a booking or trip.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on our platform, including logos, designs, and trip materials, is owned by Mingle Passports or our partners. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

14. Minors

If a traveler is under 18 years of age, their booking, these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Liability Waiver & Media Release must be reviewed and accepted by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf.

15. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or booking at any time if we believe you are violating these Terms or causing harm to the community. You may also cancel your account at any time by contacting us, subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy in Section 7.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a trip booking shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith discussion, and failing that, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts, or referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as the Company may elect.

18. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Liability Waiver & Media Release, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mingle Passports regarding your use of our services and participation in a trip.
